But when Aftergood filed FOIA requests with the CIA for its budget records for 1947/8, the agency's initial reply is that his request was denied. The agency cited applicable FOIA exemptions to such requests, including national security related exemptions. Over several years in the 2000's Aftergood filed several complaints and appeals to compel the CIA release of this fiscal year budget information. It had prior released other requested years and time spans, but strangely denied this specific request for the Roswell-year budget records.

Paper trails -written evidence- can prove very tricky maze to find and to navigate once found. It took years of circling back and making connections from various journals and contracts to discover that Battelle was retained by Wright Patterson to work on memory metal in the months following the Roswell crash. A similar financial forensic analysis may prove to be equally productive. Dealing with enormity of fallen ET craft and creatures costs money, it necessarily involves expenditure. Is it mere coincidence and mishandling that accounts for the CIA's account of why they can't come up with budget information for that critical period of time, but they can -and do- for other years? Given what the Roswell officers above have said, I think not. There has to be some indication somewhere of a "Roswell financial paper trail" of funding, expenses and disbursement associated with 66 years of keeping the alien secret.

Helena author Joan Bird has a Ph.D. in zoology, and her career has been dedicated to the natural world, including work for the Montana Environmental Information Center, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, and the Nature Conservancy.
In her new book, she makes her case for the existence of phenomena born far from the Treasure State's terra firma: extraterrestrial lifeforms.
Bird writes in the introduction to "Montana UFOs and Extraterrestrials" that, although she's a scientist, she is comfortable with the notion that there are some things science just can't explain. She's also had a lifelong fascination with bits of information that don't seem to belong. "Unidentified flying objects," or UFOs, certainly fall into that category.
That attitude led Bird to a field known among its practitioners as "ufology," and ultimately to the writing of "Montana UFOs."
Montana, it turns out, has been the scene of some of the most significant unexplained occurrences involving UFOs, dating back more than 70 years. Two in particular, a 15-second, color film shot by Nick Mariana in Great Falls on Aug. 15, 1950, showing two silvery spheres in flight; and an incident in 1967 in which 10 Minuteman missiles were deactivated in their silos while a UFO hovered overhead, are considered of primary significance....

Located in southwestern Siberia and covering 27,000 miles, Kuznetsk Basin is one of the largest coal mining areas in the world. The location where the strange stone object was found is owned and operated by the Kuzbassrazrezugol mining company. A company crew digging at a depth of 40 meters (131 feet) found two of the stone saucers. One broke as it was being removed but the second came to the surface intact.
The stone saucer is a near-perfect circle with a diameter of 1.2 meters (4 feet) and weighs 440 pounds. Boris Glazkov, the man who found the objects, was mystified.
I have to say it wasn't hard to see as it was really distinctive and large. I've never seen anything like this object, which is obviously man-made out, here in the middle of nowhere before. It is a real mystery.
Archeologists have been brought in to analyze the stone UFOs. So far, no explanation has been given for them. The depth at which they were found (40 meters) is deeper that where the mining company normally encounters mammoth fossils (25 meters), suggesting they're over 10,000 years old.
If they were made by humans, what were they trying to depict? With all the buzz about drones today, the first thought is that it's a life-size model of an alien drone. More likely, it's a scaled down model of UFO, since a full-sized stone statue would weigh tons. While there don't appear to be carvings or writing on the object, it is similar in size and possible age to the Dropa stones - the engraved circular discs found near Tibet and believed by some to be a record of visits by ancient aliens.

I witnessed the same sort of lights last night (February 19, 2013) between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. I live around Westwood and Kingsway in Coquitlam. I posted on Facebook about what I saw, and a guy from work said his kids seen something as well.
A friend posted a link to this blog and I have to say my experience is almost identical. I could have written it, even down to trying to rationalize what I saw. The lights disappeared one by one with the third light was getting lost in some trees.
There was a V formation as well. I thought there was more lights, but there was only three. I got my girlfriend to come out, but at that point there was only 1 light left. She thought it was a helicopter at first, but the way it moved and there being no sound, she was perplexed as I was. Sorry if I seem to be rambling, but I have no idea what it was we saw.

This looks like a very bright point of light, a point like object. I observed it with bynoculars and still it was a very bright point of light, very low, very close to the Florida Turnpike in area code 33176 or 33186. Very visible around 8:10pm, but later after dark it was really bright, like a very high street light, many people should have seen this. I manage to get many minutes of footage from a HD camcorder on a tripod, amazing view. I have seen this object many times before, this is sighting number nine since 07/22/13. I am attaching part of this footage.

Vatican and UFO - Secretum Omega
On the day 30 of April in the Palazzo della Provincia of Pescara took place the Conference "UFO? the Truth is Top Secret, from Area 51 to Planet X", organized by the "Ufobserver" Cultural Association. During the conference I related about underground bases in the USA and dedicated the last fifteen minutes of my speech to a very short summary of my work during last five years in a new direction that, starting from now, will be the leading topic in my future lectures.This is a little anticipation. In the year 2000 I was working in Rome as an editor in the "Stargate" magazine and I wrote many articles about Fatima Apparitions, their famous Third Secret and other Vatican State-related mysteries.
After the publication of these articles I started to receive many e-mails from a person who qualified himself as a Vatican insider longing to know me for my researches about Fatima. From those e-mails rose up the story of a presumed Vatican Intelligence Agency named "S.I.V." code from "Servizio Informazioni del Vaticano".
After one year of such kind of epistolary contacts (in the meantime that person had revealed to me he was a S.I.V. member from the Jesuit order working in structures of the Holy See and I could verify that these information were true), we finally met in a public place in Rome and I could realize that he knew much more of what he had said in his letters. Moreover, he sent to me some stuff including a video (shown during the Pescara Conference) regarding observations of something like a tenth planet approaching the Solar System.

Such video had been presumably taped in 1995 from a space probe named Siloe and its images had been later sent to a secret radio-telescope hidden in a dismissed oil-refining plant in Alaska, totally managed by Jesuits. According to this person the reason to establish the S.I.V. was the meeting with an Alien delegation at Muroc Air Field Base in February 1954 in presence of president Dwight Eisenhower and James Francis McIntyre, bishop of Los Angeles.
After the incredible event McIntyre flew to Rome to refer everything to Pope Pius XII who decided to found the S.I.V with the aim to get every possible information about Aliens and how they did interact with the American Government.
From then bishop McIntyre and Detroit Archbishop Edward Mooney became the main information coordinators between USA and the Vatican State. Incredibly, later on there should have been some direct personal meetings between S.I.V. members and a nordic-looking race of Aliens coming from the Pleiades. These Aliens presumably warned humans against another alien race met by the Americans in the California Desert.
These meetings between S.I.V and Aliens took place mainly in the USA territory but also (two times) in the Vatican State, precisely in Vatican Gardens at the Papal Academy of Sciences in presence of Pope Pius XII the same. My Jesuit contact also confirmed to me the reality of the George Adamsky-John XXIII meeting and talked about some very interesting details about it.
