Banyak berita yang simpang siur dengan keberadaan pola ini. Warga meyakininya sebagai bekas dari pendaratan UFO. Beberapa ilmuwan meyakininya sebagai buatan manusia, sebuah rekayasa dengan tujuan sebagai karya seni, komersial, hingga sebuah lelucon yang kreatif. Wikipedia menulis bahwa keberadaan lingkaran ini karena sengaja dibuat oleh perusahaan sebagai iklan produk mereka atau sekedar untuk berunjukrasa.
Kepolisian setempat juga sudah turun ke tempat kejadian perkara (TKP). Batas polisi juga sudah dipasang di sekitarnya. Karena selain tempat tersebut diharapkan steril dari jamahan manusia, padi di sekitarnya juga sudah hampir panen. Jadi dijaga agar tidak diinjak-injak pengunjung supaya jangan sampai gagal panen.
Namun masyarakat Indonesia bisa melihat peluang di dalam berita yang cukup menggemparkan ini. Lingkaran yang masih misterius ini banyak dikunjungi oleh masyarakat.
Bukan hanya masyarakat setempat namun banyak yang sengaja datang jauh-jauh untuk melihat dengan mata kepala sendiri. Melihat animo masyarakat yang sangat antusias, warga setempat menjadikannya sebagai objek wisata dan membuka lahan parkir. Untuk mobil dikenakan biaya parkir Rp 5.000,00 sedangkan untuk motor Rp 2.000,00.
