Black Triangle Sighting In Monroe City

We were sitting at a camp fire near Hillbilly's Campground at 18018 Hwy J, Monroe City, MO 63456. There were about ten of us. My back was to the object when someone said "What the hell is that?" We all turned and saw six reddish orange lights flying in formation coming out of a cloud with lightning flashes at its rear. The object emerged and hovered in place. On one end of the object there were three of the lights/objects {on the left}in a downward "V" shaped formation. The other end {right side} they were in a perfect horizontal line. The object{s}hovered noiselessly for four to five minutes and then moved back into the cloud as it disappeared. We all tried to photograph and video the objects but they did not show up on the photos or in the video! People further away in the campground approached us asking if we saw the objects. We were all amazed and convinced that we had seen a UFO. I am a retired police officer, I have never seen a UFO and I am convinced that this was one!
